It’s finally here! We’ve been working on this for quite some time now, but we think the final result was worth the wait. The two bedroom (plus loft), one bathroom house features modern amenities including black stainless appliances, a rain fall shower, integrated entertainment system, granite counters, spiral staircase, memory foam mattresses, desk areas, full size washer and dryer, central heat and air, high speed internet and much more.

The house sleeps up to five people with a king size mattress in the master bedroom, a twin sized mattress in the loft and two twin sized mattresses in the second bedroom. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, pots, pans, cooking utensils and just about every other thing you’ll need to make you feel at home during your stay. Step out onto the deck and enjoy a large outdoor sectional for visiting and entertaining.

All of this is just steps away from the main house and the property’s sprawling lawns and gardens. There isn’t a more convenient option for our clients’ family, bridal party or guests when it comes to overnight accommodations. Reserve your stay today!

We’re always thinking of ways to improve the property, but our windows for projects seem to get smaller and smaller with each passing year. For several seasons now, we’ve had our sights set on the rusty old gazebo at the ceremony site. It’s just never seemed quite right as it sits less than 100 yards away from the turn-of-the-century barn. We wanted something just a little different. Something with a little class. Something with a modern look that still felt weathered and timeless.  We’re so happy to say, we think we nailed it. Literally. Thousands of times. With over 2,000 square feet of reclaimed boards, we nailed together a beautiful new arch that opens up the garden and creates the perfect space for our clients to promise the rest of their lives to each other. Standing 12′ tall and 12′ wide, we think it’s one of the coolest features on the property and we’re absolutely thrilled to share with you the latest addition to The Grace Maralyn Estate:

India and Jamie chose to have their outdoor wedding at The Grace Maralyn Estate & Gardens, a beautiful venue along California’s central coast. Josh Morris from Rain Studios had the privilege of shooting their their special day.

The day started in the estate’s main house where final preparations were underway. After India skipped down the aisle with her father, she exchanged personal vows with Jamie in front of their closest family and friends. Rather than make some lame attempt at summarizing, we figured it would be best to share a few quick excerpts since pictures can’t always capture everything. 😉

“Jamie, today you’re not just my best friend, but my husband… You have given me your whole heart and shared with me the most precious person in your world. You’re an amazing, kind, loving father who will sacrifice anything to support and love our son. You’re the love of my life and the one who makes me weak at the knees with one look… and you’re my safe place I snuggle to when times are hard… I promise to love you, to encourage you, to be your best friend and your safe place. I promise to hold your hand, to be your partner in crime and to fight through life’s hurdles. I promise to respect and cherish our marriage. When we are old and crinkled, I know I’ll be by your side, smoking a cigar and drinking a good glass of wine… I am forever yours.”

“India, from the moment I met you I knew that simply knowing you in passing would never be enough… I can’t imagine myself walking this path with anyone else… my vow to you is to always be there for you when you need me most. I promise to be a true and loyal friend to you. I promise to be your Xanax when you are stressed. I promise to be your bulldog when you feel threatened and to be your bandage when you feel hurt. I promise to be your blanket when you need comfort and warmth… I promise to make you a priority and to put you, our family and God above all else… I love you for not only who you are, but who I am with you.”

Getting to spend the day with these two was really an incredible honor. From the epic photo sesh at sunset and heartfelt F-bomb toasts to some of the greatest people you’ll ever meet throwing down on the dance floor, this was a day that will forever be cherished. We feel blessed to be able to share these small glimpses into the lives of these very special people.
